My Story

For as long as I can remember music has been an integral part of my life. My father was a pianist and soloist in our church so our home was always filled with music. I was raised in First Baptist Church, Peekskill, NY, where I sang my first solo in the children's choir. Music became more than important to me when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was thirteen years of age.

In high school I was part of an ensemble called "Fidelis" and after graduation I attended Word of Life Bible Institute where I was chosen to be in the "Collegians." When I returned home I helped form a traveling singing group based in my home church called "Living Proof."

During this time I began writing songs with my brother, John, and we began giving concerts in area coffee houses and churches. After a time I began traveling with my husband, Ron, and presenting the original music I was writing.

After my father passed away we relocated to Pensacola, Florida and moved my mother to be with us. I would later become her caretaker. Somewhere in the midst of this upheaval I found myself in constant pain which was diagnosed as Chronic Myofascial Pain and Fibromyalgia. Two years ago my mother became very ill and passed away and I was plunged into depression.

I am someone who has felt the hands of the Lord carrying me through my darkest hours. Through my music I endeavor to share from a heart that has been tested and tried. For those who hurt, there is an answer, no matter the source of their pain.
